Test Purposes
●Sand Dust: MIL-STD-810G Method510.5
●The purpose of the sand and dust test is to evaluate the resistance of the equipment to dust that may block openings, seep into cracks, bearings and streets, and is also used to evaluate the performance of filter devices.
Sand and Dust Test Procedure
a) Procedure Ⅰ——Blowing dust. Procedure 1 is used to study the adaptability of equipment to blowing dust (diameter ≤149m).(Blowing dust test chamber)
b) Program II - sand blowing. Procedure II is used to study the adaptability of each pair of sand blasting (150um to 850m in diameter).(MIL-STD-810G dust chamber)
c) Procedure III - Dust suppression. Procedure III is used to study how dust can accumulate for long periods of time in areas with little air movement.
